adding background music to your imovie project adds excitement and
professional polish to your movies.
adding a background track is easy, just click the music and sound effects
button underneath the viewer , then you will have access to all your
songs in itunes library as well as built in loops and jingles, that
come with imovie 09.
you can preview any song by just double clicking it.
to find that certain song in itunes library, quickly , just type the
song name in the search box.
when you find the song you wanna add, drag it to grey space in the
project window, making sure not to drop on to a clip
the green highlight show where the background music starts and ends.
if the music is longer than the movie, the music will fade out of
the end of it
if your movie is longer than your song, you can easily add an another
song, by dragging it to the grey space in your project.
if you wanna have the background music start playing later in your
movie, just drag the music to where you want it to start
the highlight turns purple to show that the music is pinned to a
specific clip, now if you move your clip, the music will move with it.
to make the background music louder and softer, just double click it, then dragg
the volume slide untill it just right.
with the background track , you can add feeling and style to your
movies, making them more fun to watch and share.
